The Opobo Foundation USA held its Inaugural Convention & Fundraiser Gala at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 128 Frontage Rd, Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday July 3 and Sunday July 4, 2021.
Theme: Educate, Empower, Equip. Youth Education Scholarship.
The programme featured exciting cultural dances and displays, authentic Ibani music, Ibani masquerade displays, the history of Opobo, culturally accurate fashion shows, the stages of Ibani womanhood, and a symposium on issues affecting Opobo.
